The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started efforts to persuade fast bowler Mohammad Amir to reverse his retirement decision. In an interview to a YouTube channel, PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said that he had recently spoken to Aamir in England.
In which he has made it clear that the path he has taken is not right for a senior player, he is still a key player for the Pakistani team and the cricket board will try to reconcile him and the coaches.
Wasim Khan did not give any time frame for Muhammad Aamir's return to the national team. It may be recalled that fast bowler Mohammad Aamir had retired from international cricket citing the attitude of the team management.
And recently, the captain of the national team Babar Azam had also said in an interview that he would try to persuade Mohammad Amir to withdraw his decision to retire.
